Abstract
The basic purpose of this project is to increase the confidence of the financial community in production predications and "reserves: assessments of geothermal fields made by reservoir simulators. As a first step, six groups reported solutions to a set of test problems issued by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Accuracy and reliability of the solutions were then compared and evaluated by a panel at the annual Stanford Workshop.
