Abstract

Published estimates of the amount of electrical energy (and/ or electrical power) that might be obtained from U.S. geothermal resources using non-traditional techniques (i.e. EGS) span more than two orders of magnitude. In this paper, some of these published estimates and their technical foundations are examined and evaluated.
