RESEARCH

  • Research topic in Supri-D: Use of Distributed Temperature Measurement
    Exploring the application of Distributed Temperature Sensing: building a thermal model using
    temperature data to estimate flowrate profile, which can be used to investigate the effect of downhole
    gauge placed at a distant from the production interval.
  • Research work in China University of Petroleum: Reservoir Simulation
    Participated in the “abnormal high pressure reservoir development method research” project, in
    which we compared different development methods for an abnormal high pressure reservoir based
    on a numerical model of this reservoir.
  • Senior thesis: Prediction of the Wax Deposition in Long Distance Pipelines
    The objective was to build a model to predict wax deposition in Zhongyin pipeline, which is located
    in northwest China, and make a pipeline pigging schedule.

WORKING EXPERIENCE

    Participated in the “abnormal high pressure reservoir development method research” project, my
    duties included gathering field data, input data into gocad, building geological model and running simulations based on different development methods.
  • Internship               Geoscience center, Shengli oilfield, Sinopec         Winter 2007
    My duties included using software to build geological models for different reservoirs, and designing gathering transportation pipelines in oilfields.
  • Internship               Production Center, Daqing oilfield, CNPC            Summer 2005
    My duties included monitoring production data in a production center in Daqing oil field, and attending training courses on HSE issue, production process and oil/gas transportation in oil field. Also, I visited the gas treatment station, to know the basic process of refinery of nature gas.
