undergraduate research opportunity/Tibet Plateau/Summer 2007
Suitable
for students with majors (or academic preparation) in the School of Earth
Sciences (Geology, Geophysics, Earth Systems) or Physics or Engineering. Four
weeks of fieldwork in western China in May/June 2007; subsequent data analysis
and interpretation. Hourly
stipends and academic credit available.
All travel and personal costs paid. Also open to non-scientists with an
interest in or ability to utilize the opportunity to travel in China/Tibet.

(or academic preparation) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences,
Geophysics, Physics, Applied Physics, or any other engineering or science
major. Occasional days of
fieldwork in the Bay Area, but strong focus on software development and data
analysis. Hourly stipends and academic credit available.
