About me
I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Geophysics at Stanford University, in the Crustal Deformation and Fault Mechanics research group. I study volcanic eruptions -- in particular, how magma moves to the surface during effusive eruptions, and how this process generates geophysical signals that we can detect. Ultimately, I hope that my work will lead to a better understanding of the way volcanoes erupt, and how we might be able to better predict the onset, duration, and style of future eruptions.
