From the Marine Virtual Explorer
The Marine Virtual Explorer is an interactive CD that allows the user to explore hydrothermal vent fields on the East Pacific Rise as if you are inside the research submarine, Alvin. The CD incorporates approximately 30 minutes of video taken at the seafloor, and extensive 3-D animations of the exotic terrain.
