In collaboration with Russian scientists Andrei Prokopiev and Leonid Parfenof, Jaime Toro and Elizabeth Miller are studying aspects of the formation of the Verkoyansk Fold and Thrust Belt of NE Russia, including obtaining better constraints on its exact age of formation with respect to Mesozoic continental margin tectonics.
