Projects in Alaska have focused on the evolution of the Brooks Range fold-and- thrust belt and on the geologic history of the Seward Peninsula. Geologic mapping and topical studies have addressed how to distinguish and resolve the age of superimposed episodes of ductile compressional and extensional deformation and faulting and their relation to magmatism.
