Lab Analyses

NOTE: Stanford University users please consult the SIBL - EM-2 for analytical needs. Below is a price list that is intended for outside research facilities and universities. Companies are encouraged to seek alternative laboratories for their analyses, however, if you are unable to locate a facility to analyze your samples we can run them on a "time available" basis. Analytical priority is given to projects requiring the present instrument configuration (i.e., not a first come -first serve basis). Hence, special instrument configurations are lower priority.

Here is a list of analyses we can perform in the lab along with the price/sample without sample preparation:

CHN elemental analyses without IRMS @ $11.00/sample *+

CNS elemental analyses without IRMS @ $11.00/sample *+

CN elemental analyses without IRMS @ $11.00/sample *+

Percent carbonate via UIC coulometer @ $10.00/sample

TDIC concentrations in water via Li-cor @ $15.00/sample

Stable oxygen and carbon isotopes in carbonate via Kiel III carbonate device @ $17.50/sample

Stable oxygen and carbon isotopes in dolomite via Kiel III carbonate device @ $17.50/sample

Stable oxygen isotopes in water @ $18.00/sample

Stable carbon isotopes on inorganic or organic matter via EA/IRMS $15.00/sample+

Stable nitrogen isotopes on inorganic or organic mater via EA/IRMS $15.00/sample+

Note: Prices may change without notice.
Note: * denotes special configuration.
Note: + denote special pricing - minimum cost of $125 for 1 to 10 analyses, each additional sample after 10 is $15.00/ea.

If you are interested in having analyses run in the SIL, please contact (dam@pangea.stanford.edu) for more information.
