In addition to my lab manager responsibilities, I am also an expedition manager. I support a number of field programs headed by Dr. Robert Dunbar at Stanford University. In addition I have also supported other researchers at Rice University, RSMAS (University of Miami), and VIMS (College of William & Mary), Syracuse University, Duke University to mention a few, some of these programs are listed below.


 Programs:

Studies of Primary Productivity-Involving measurement of total dissolved inorganic carbon concentration and isotopes, pCO2, particulate N and C, coring, deployment and recovery of sediment traps moorings, CTD's, and current meters in the Antarctic regions of the Ross Sea and McMurdo Sound, Peninsula, and East Antarctic Margin.

Studies in Paleoclimate-Involving coral collection using under water hydraulic drilling rig, SCUBA, and surface air supply in the areas of the eastern Pacific (Palmyra Atoll, Easter Island, Galapagos, Panama, Costa Rica, Clipperton, Cocos, Baja, Fiji, Eilat).

Studies in Ocean Circulation, Carbonate Preservation/Dissolution-Coring and seismic acquisition using single, multi-channel seismic, chirp, and 3.5KHz equipment in areas of the Belize, Caribbean, Maldives, and Bahamas.

Misc. Studies-Seismic in the Antarctica, Florida Keys, Gulf of Mexico, Gulf of Alaska, Great Barrier Reef, Papua New Guinea, Baja California, Lake Titicaca, and Anguilla (British West Indies). GPS in Colombia, South America, Coring in west Texas. Paleoclimate in Lake Titicaca in Bolivia/Peru and Lago Fagnano in Argentina, South America
