David Mucciarone
General Background


I have been working with stable isotopes for over 25 years and seismic acquisition and processing for over 17 years. I received my B.S. degree in Marine Science in 1982 and M.S. degree in Geology in May 1988 at the University of South Carolina. In between my two degrees I worked as lab manager for 5 years in the University of South Carolina Stable Isotope Laboratory. In 1988, I began working as the lab manager at the Rice University Stable Isotope Laboratory and in 1989 added the responsibility as manager of the High Resolution Seismic Acquisition Facilities both in the Department of Eath Sciences at Rice University. In 1997, I departed Rice University to manage the Stable Isotope Laboratory Research Group in the Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences at Stanford University. In 2007, I co-manage the Stable Isotope Biogeochemical Lab (SIBL) - Environmental Measurements II (EM-2) facility in the Stanford School of Earth Sciences.
