Description: This project is twofold: (1) Field and laboratory characterization of structures in various carbonate
units in central Texas, and (2) Identification of the characteristic structures and the corresponding units at the subsurface
from down-hole oil production and logging data. By demonstrating a link between the two, we aim to identify the primary flow
units. If successful, the results will have important implications for exploration and production in nearby aquifers, and oil
and gas reservoirs. |
