| Description: The Structural Geology Knowledgebase will provide information and tools that help predicting subsurface structures and petrophysical properties, especially in sandstone, carbonate, and shale. Current work is in three directions: 1) domain ontology about fractures and faults, their mechanism, and their petrophysical properties; 2) web tools characterizing possible deformation mechanism and fracture types under certain geological condition; 3) educational application of the knowledgebase. | |
