October 2009: The 2009 SPODDS Annual Meeting and Field Conference will be held in the Ouachita Mountains in SW Arkansas and SE Oklahoma, with a strong emphasis on the Oklahoma portion where more distal deepwater settings are better developed. We will not be visiting the classic channel localities around Little Rock, as so many trips do now. The theme of the Field Conference will be deepwater splays and we will be inviting our member companies to give presentations (talks or posters) relevant to this theme during the meeting. We will set the specific time and lodging details early since suitable facilities are limited. Everyone will probably be informed by the end of the year.
