Faculty

The co-directors of the Stanford Project on Deep-water Depositional Systems are Dr. Donald R. Lowe and Dr. Stephan A. Graham , who collectively have over 45 years of experience in the study of deep-sea depositional systems. The research will be conducted by the co-directors and other faculty, graduate students, and post-doctoral associates in the School of Earth Sciences, Stanford University. Other Stanford faculty members who may participate in the project, as developments warrant, include James Ingle (marine geology and micropaleontology), and Andre Journel and Paul Switzer (geomathematics and geostatistics).

The SPODDS program benefits significantly from the participation of Bill Normark of the United States Geological Survey, and Tim McHargue of ChevronTexaco.
