My research focuses primarily on the evolution of structures, development of
rock fabric, and thermal history in areas where feedbacks between erosion and tectonics is suspected. I integrate field-based geologic work, thermocronology, and analogue and numerical modeling to study exhumation, erosion and deformation patterns in orogens. I use state-of-the-art techniques (Particle Image Velocimetry - PIV - and servo-controlled testing machines) to quantify experimental deformation.
