Brianna Rego

I am a Master's student working in the paleobiology research group with Jonathan Payne. My research focuses on the extinction selectivity of Foraminifera during the end-Permian and end-Triassic mass extinctions and the evolution of body size in Foraminifera during the Triassic in an effort to better understand the controls on recovery from the end-Permian mass extinction. I am also a PhD student in the Department of History at Stanford where I am working with Robert Proctor on the history of 20th-century science, medicine, and technology.
