School of Earth Sciences Ceremony: June 17, 2007

Graduating students:
If you are planning to finish a degree, you MUST notify the University or your degree will NOT be conferred! See instructions below. Detailed commencement information can be found on the University's Commencement website.
Applying for graduation
Apply online for graduation through AXESS; give clear instructions on how your name should appear on the diploma, etc.
  • Note that AXESS checks your major and "field". Double-check your AXESS record to make sure it correctly shows your graduation intentions.
  • If you miss the apply-to-graduate deadline, you must apply to receive your degree the next quarter.
  • Make sure you've met all academic requirements! You must take all the courses listed on your Program Proposal (or your PhD Candidacy form), or else you must file a Revision. If you have any doubts, check your courses with your department's Student Services administrator.
  • If you're planning to continue for another degree at Stanford, there are forms you must file before you graduate. See your department's Student Services administrator for information.
