Registration

(1) Registration form (see Appendix 1): All delegates, including the invited speakers, are required to fill out the Registration Form and fax or e-mail it to the Registration Secretariat at the following address:

(2) Field Trip registration: Only a limited number of seats are available for the Field Trips (maximum total number of participants is 60 for Field Trip-1, Field Trip-2 maximum 40 people).  Registration is on a “first come, first served” basis.
Deadline for the Field Trip registration: March 5, 2007, and full payment must be received before the date to secure your place.

(3) Xi’an Tour registration: The tour is only available for delegates who register for Field Trip 2, and their accompanying persons (note: the accompanying persons have to fly from Beijing directly to Xi’an).
Deadline for the Xi’an tour registration: March 15, 2007, and full payment must be received before the date to secure your place.

(4) Deadline for issuing the official Invitation Letter: April 15, 2007

(5) Bank transfer payment receipt: Please fax or e-mail a copy of your bank transfer payment receipts to the Registration Secretariat as soon as you make the payment by the wire transfer to the indicated address in the First Circular.

The conference registration fee includes:
For delegate: Attendance at all sessions, the collection of abstracts, conference guidebook, refreshments, lunches and dinners, banquet,  show,  during the meeting dates.
For accompanying person: Banquets and cultural show.

The Field Trip registration fee includes:
Field trip-1: field trip guidebook, buses, hotels, meals, gate ticket for Chengde Summer Palace.
Field trip-2: field trip guidebook, buses, hotels, meals, gate ticket for Chengde Summer Palace, round trip air tickets for Beijing-Yan’an flight, or air tickets from Beijing to Yan’an and from Xi’an to Beijing for Xi’an tour delegates.

The Xi’an Tour registration fee includes:

Important Notice:

  1. Do please e-mail or fax a copy of your bank transfer payment record to the Registration Secretariat as soon as you make the payment.
  2. Make sure to include your own name in your payment instructions. The Registration Secretariat will notify you of your registration as soon as your registration fee is received.

Hotels

There are two contracted hotels for the conference, Tianhong Plaza Hotel and Mengxi Hotel. Please be aware the information change about Tianhong Plaza Hotel as following:

(1) The name of the hotel is changed as “ Park Plaza Beijing Science Park “
(2) The room rate is increased a bit than the reference 2006 room rate listed in the First Circular. It is finalized as in the following table:

(3) To enjoy the special hotel room rate, you have to use the Hotel Booking Form attached here as Appendix 2. Do fax or e-mail the filled booking form to both the hotel and the conference Registration Secretariat to ensure your booking ( this is applied to both Tianhong Plaza hotel and Mengxi Hotel). Be aware that special room rate is not applied for on-line hotel booking through the hotel website.

 

Cancellations

If you are unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcomed at no extra charge. Please provide the name and the title of the substitute delegate at least 5 days prior to the conference.
A full refund less 10% service charge will be made for cancellation received in writing by April 10, 2007. Regrettably, no fund can be made for cancellation received after April 10, 2007. A complete set of documentation will however be sent to you.

Visa Application

Foreign delegates who need an Invitation Letter for applying for visas to enter China, please use the Invitation Letter Application Form as attached (Appendix 4). It is strongly suggested to fax or e-mail your Invitation Letter Application Form at least one and half month before your departure.
