Driving
From Highway 101 North & South:- From San Francisco International Airport (SFO), take 101 South.
- Take the Embarcadero Road exit and head west for three miles toward Stanford.
- Continue on Embarcadero Road, which becomes Galvez Street as it enters the Stanford campus.
- Stay in the left lane and continue toward the center of campus. The Alumni Center is on the right side of Galvez Street, just after you cross over Campus Drive.
From Highway 280 North & South:
- Take the Alpine Road exit heading east toward Stanford.
- Continue east, turning right at the traffic light on Santa Cruz Avenue.
- Make an immediate left onto Junipero Serra Boulevard. Turn left at the second traffic light and onto Campus Drive East.
- Continue around Campus Drive East and turn left when you reach Serra Street, at the gas station. Follow Serra Street until it ends at Galvez Street .
From Sheraton Hotel, Palo Alto:
- Turn right on El Camino Real.
- Turn left on University Avenue/Palm Drive.
- Cross over El Camino Real and continue down Palm Drive.
- Go through one traffic light, and turn left onto Campus Drive at the first stop sign.
Parking
Limited visitor parking is available in the Galvez Field lot at the corner of Galvez Street and Campus Drive. Metered parking is enforced Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.Public Transportation

- From the University Avenue Caltrain Station in Palo Alto, take Line B (either Counter-Clockwise or Clockwise) to the stop in front of the Alumni Center. For more information, see the Marguerite Shuttle website.
- Line B runs Monday through Friday year-round (except campus holidays), 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., every 15 min.
