3/26/09 - Illustrator bug fixed - works OK now on Mac OS X

There used to be a problem trying to save Illustrator files to the "Desktop" or anywhere inside your "Documents" folder while using the Mac OS X operating system in the lab. This was due to an interaction between Illustrator and a bug in the School's file server, sesfs, which hosts those two folders. The server bug was fixed, and other configuration changes made, during an upgrade on March 26, 2009. Illustrator can now be used on the G.R.I.D. lab computers under Mac OS X without problems. There were never any problems under Windows.

12/19/08 - Matlab removed from Saxton

Our new Matlab license will no longer support the older version of Matlab that is needed for Saxton, which uses the older G5 processor. Therefore, Matlab has been removed from Saxton. Use any of the other lab computers if you need to run Matlab.
