Stanford University School of Earth Science

G.R.I.D. Computer Lab

The G.R.I.D. (Geo-Research, Imaging, & Design) computer lab is available only to students or faculty members associated with the School of Earth Sciences. It provides computers, software, scanners, plotters, and other specialized devices for individual use in graphically intensive research and presentation. Please see the Lab Features page for more information about available hardware and software.
The lab is located in the Mitchell Building, room A-59 (in the sub-basement). Contact the G.R.I.D. lab managers to get the door access code.
The neighboring Mitchell A-65 teaching cluster is provided for teaching purposes and has much of the same software as the G.R.I.D. lab.
