Last revision October 3, 2008

The School of Earth Sciences provides a computer classroom available for use by courses in any department or program within the School of Earth Sciences. Courses in units outside Earth Sciences are not eligible to use this facility.

Located in the Mitchell Earth Sciences Building, Room A-65 (in the sub-basement), the classroom is equipped with 20 dual-boot iMac computers that run Windows XP Pro by default, but can be restarted into Mac OS X 10.5.

Each workstation has enough room for students to work in pairs (maximum 40 students). When not reserved for a class, the computers are available for drop-in use by anyone in the School of Earth Sciences.

The Room Features link has complete information on the computers and other lab features. Please see the FAQ for login problems!
