Register for classes or find course information:

The Stanford Bulletin web site publishes degree requirements, University requirements, and
nonacademic regulations, as well as information on Stanford's schools,
departments, and interdisciplinary programs.

The Bulletin's Explore Courses is Stanford's catalog of courses and degrees.

Find tutoring or advising support:

Center for Teaching and Learning offers peer tutoring programs, time management courses and academic counseling (to teach exam prep skills, lecture note-taking tips and others).

Student Affairs is a diverse organization of professionals who are dedicated to the social, psychological, ethical and cognitive development and well being

Research a topic or read related materials:

Branner Earth Sciences Library, located on the second floor of the Mitchell Building, houses an extensive collection of books and maps. The library's collection includes about 125,000 volumes (including 2000 serial titles) and around 260,000 maps. The library is a depository for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the California Division of Mines and Geology.

The Academic Calendar provide information about semester breaks and add/drop deadlines for each semester.

Find research support:

The Undergraduate Research Program  offering approximately 20 students stipends of up to $5600 to conduct research over the summer.

The Graduate McGee, Levorsen, Chevron, Research Grants and Speer Prize support graduate student research
