Expanding Your Horizons in Math and Science is an all-day conference for 6th through 12th grade girls. Graduate students lead 1 hour workshops where girls get hands-on experiences with the tools of Earth scientists.
In 2006, four women graduate students participated at EYH at San Jose State University and at Skyline College. We are supportive of events like this to help inspire other young girls to go into science careers.
