educational activities and programs.
Earth Sciences around Stanford
Are you interested in learning more about the geology, environment and ecology of the Bay area? The School of Earth Sciences is now offering free, one-day field trips open to anyone in the Stanford community. Participants will learn about some of the important topics in Earth science affecting our local area, as well as the geologic and environmental history of the region. Trips will be offered every quarter—for more information or to recieve notice of future trips please contact Sara Cina.

Other ways to get out to the field...
The Wrigley Field Program in Hawaii is an interdisciplinary Earth Systems program which immerses students in a 10-week long investigation of the geological, environmental, and ecological processes shaping the Hawaiian Islands. The program was first offered during the fall quarter of 2010 and will continue to be offered in alternate years. Contact Sara Cina for more information.
