New Student Overnight Info!!!

Join us September 23rd for an overnight trip amongst the beautiful redwoods in the Santa Cruz mountains...

Why? Welcome to Stanford! This is a great way to meet fellow grad students as well as your student mentor.
When? We will meet at 9am on Saturday (9/23) in the
GeoCorner parking lot (see map) and ride in vans to
Mt. Madonna County Park (~1 hour drive). We plan to return by noon on Sunday (9/24). However, if you would like to return to Stanford on Saturday evening, let us know and we will do our best to arrange alternative transportation.
What to bring? We will provide a light breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. We will be tent camping overnight - although most choose to sleep under the stars! You will need to bring a sleeping bag (and whatever other sleeping/camping material you desire), hiking shoes, warm clothes, long pants, and whatever else you need to make your stay comfortable. Please RSVP on the EVITE ASAP. If you have questions or concerns, or need a sleeping bag or tent, email Joanne Gaskell (jgaskell@ stanford.edu), Rami Younis (ryounis@stanford.edu), or Christina Sebastian (chistina.sebastian@stanford.edu). Thank you!

We look forward to meeting you all!
