GEODYNAMICS

The ultimate goal of research in geodynamics is to understand how plate tectonics, thermal plumes and deep mantle flow are related and how crustal features and processes are influenced by mantle dynamics. For additional information please refer to the research group links of Crustal Geophysics or Stress and Crustal Mechanics and the faculty pages: Simon Klemperer, Norm Sleep, Goetz Bokelmann and Mark Zoback.
