CONTROLLED SOURCE SEISMOLOGY

Controlled source seismic profiling uses wide-angle and near-vertical reflection and refraction data to study the regional tectonic structure at crustal and lithospheric scales. Current research is underway in various geologic provinces, such as continental rifts and oceanic arcs. For further information see the links to Crustal Geophysics, Simon Klemperer or George Thompson.
