In order to complete a minor in Geological and Environmental Sciences,
students must
The variety of courses that can satisfy the minor requirements should
make it possible for students with a wide range of interests and backgrounds
to complete a GES minor. Up to 3 units of Stanford
Introductory Seminars in GES (courses numbered 29-59) may be used
to fulfill the 12-unit elective requirement for minors, and all students
pursuing a minor in GES are encouraged to participate in the GES Senior
Seminar (GES 150).
