Orientation Schedule for 2007-08;

Sept 15 - First day to move into on-campus housing
Sept 20 - GES Orientation (11:00am - 4:30pm+; Geocorner, Rm 109)
Sept 21 - CTL TA Training (8:00am - Noon; TCSEQ 200)
Sept 21 - SES Orientation (2:00pm - 4:00pm; Hartley Conference Ctr)
Sept 24 - First day of Autumn Quarter - classes begin - full academic calendar here
Sept 25 - Computer Orientation (5:15pm - 6:15pm)
Sept 28 - Welcome Back BBQ / Friday Beer Kick-Off (3:30pm - 7pm; Geocorner Courtyard)
Sept 29-30 - Overnight Trip
Oct 8-10 - School of Earth Sciences Job Fair

*Both Computer Orientation sessions cover the same material. Please plan on attending one of the sessions.

GSAC

The Graduate Student Advisory Committee consists of 11 students committed to making the School of Earth Sciences a better environment. They have compliled a fairly comprehensive website to give you some information to help get you acclimated to Stanford.
